Jordan Andonovski’s regional real estate business has dominated the Illawarra region of NSW. Last financial year the Wollongong office was ranked the second top regional office, and Jordan Andonovski the 20th top sales agent, in the entire McGrath Estate Agents network. Selling approximately 400 properties throughout 2016, the REINSW awarded the Illawarra operation the 2016 Award For Excellence Medium Real Estate Business.

Partnering with The Agency, Jordan Andonovski brings a team of 52 staff and approximately 800 properties under management. In conjunction with this partnership, a number of new agents have signed on to Jordan’s operation, including high-profile agent and auctioneer Justin Sydenham, formerly of Bevans Thirroul.

Jordan Andonovski embodies the type of people we want in our business. Client focused, staff focused and passionate about delivering the best service via the best platforms,” says Matt Lahood, CEO The Agency. “A local all his life – the town, his team and the community mean an enormous amount to Jordan and we want to support him, support his community.

Jordan’s business joining our business marks a strong ethical alignment.

Indicative of his expertise, talent and natural leadership abilities, Jordan Andonovski has achieved a rapid rise in the industry, both as a sales agent and business owner. Acutely aware of the changing nature of the real estate landscape, Jordan Andonovski decided it was time to take his team in a new direction.

Joining The Agency, our business has joined forces with an elite group of professionals, this signifies new energy and we are focused on giving our clients and employees the best experience on a professional level,” Jordan Andonovski says.

The Agency is a growing brand, yet it retains a stylish and boutique feel in its marketing. It provides us with a flexible environment where we can market and run our business in the most responsive way to local demand.

Remaining competitive, while delivering a premium level of service, is crucial according to Jordan Andonovski and he believes The Agency’s model, expanding national network and flexible marketing approach delivers on this.

Adaptability in the marketplace is key and by offering agents a share in the bigger picture of the business, which this model provides, we will attract high-calibre agents who are aligned with our culture,” Jordan Andonovski explains.

Jordan Andonovski has identified an increasing demand for Illawarra properties from Sydney-based and interstate buyers, Jordan is keen to attract like-minded investors and owner occupiers into the area.

We know there are Australians who are struggling to purchase property and we want to help them as well increase investment into the local area. The network’s growing referral base as well as finance referrals, help us service our clients both vendors and purchasers,” Jordan Andonovski says.

Investing in the Illawarra region is certainly a savvy property move according to Matt Lahood. “In the CoreLogic data June Regional Report, the Illawarra region experienced the highest annual increase in home values, 14.3% for houses and 13.9% for apartments. It is a very strong market.

CoreLogic research analyst Cameron Kusher attributed this result in part to Illawarra’s close proximity to Sydney, with high Sydney prices sending home buyers further afield.
