The Agency’s property management expansion and Province merger

In The Agency’s ambitious property management strategy, which will see 5,000 properties under management by the year’s end, the merger with Province Agents cements stage one. The outcome is better service for landlords and tenants across Sydney.

“Owners and tenants alike will have a larger reach within the Sydney market,” Maria Carlino, National Director of Property Management, explains. “We have created a unique proposition by tying our existing and new clients from the east and inner west with Province’s Lower North Shore operation.”

Working closely with Dee Uther, long-standing and esteemed property management head formerly of Province Agents, Maria’s team now sits at 20 powerhouse property management professionals. “Our collective wealth of knowledge and experience brings together some of the most skilled people in the industry and provides a strong platform for growth,” Maria Carlino says.

The Agency’s rent roll now sits at approximately 1,300 properties, a major step on the way to the business’s end-of-year goal of 5,000 properties. The other major milestone is the creation of a far-reaching tenant database, which will result in lower vacancy rates for landlords.

“A strong focus will be working together across our network, not segregated such as in a franchise model,” Maria Carlino says. “We can offer a centralised service, which is only going to continue to expand.

“This will help those investors who have a number of properties located in different parts of Sydney.”

At The Agency, delivering a superior level of client service is the primary focus. Specialised managers are dedicated to each stage of the property management cycle, including; marketing, leasing, management and accounting. This culminates in higher returns and added value service.

“It is with great pleasure we officially announce the settlement of our merger between The Agency and Province Agents,” Maria Carlino says.

Working closely with The Agency’s CEO Matt Lahood, Maria Carlino previously oversaw a national property management stable of 5,000 properties and managed a team of 85 staff.
