Media Release | 4 May 2023

National real estate services company The Agency Group has once again demonstrated its dominant position in the Western Australian market with ten of the Company’s property partners appearing in WA’s Top 50 Agents, as assessed by Real Estate Business (REB).

The REB Top 50 Agents awards provides an annual recognition of excellence in the property industry, assessing real estate agent performance across a number of criteria throughout a calendar year period.

The latest rankings champion agents who have adopted a local approach to servicing their clients and achieving outstanding sales figures across the 2022 period.

The Agency is exceptionally proud to congratulate its top ranked male and female agents, Rash Dhanjal and Lisa Barham. Rash has been highly active building relationships, as well as a team with deep experience, within the cities of Bayswater and Swan. Meanwhile, Lisa who in 2022 was awarded the title of Master Salesperson at the Real Estate Institute of WA Awards, has been exceptionally active in Perth’s northern suburbs.

The full list of Agency Group property partners ranked within the REB Top 50 Agents features: Rash Dhanjal (13th), Corey Adamson (18th), Mike Gjestland (19th – via Agency subsidiary Sell Lease Property), Adam Naumovski (21st), Anil Singh (25th), Lisa Barham (27th), Michael Keil (39th), Nicola Stacey (45th), Janey Pagels (47th), and Nikki de Rijcke (48th).

Commenting on The Agency Group’s outstanding performance, National Founder and Executive Director Paul Niardone said:

“What a fantastic performance from the team at The Agency Group, dominating the local market. To see our agents well and truly ensconced within the top echelons of Western Australia’s best real estate agents is exceptionally pleasing.

“These rankings are also yet another reminder that our model, which removes the burdens of a traditional franchise business and better incentivises agents to sell properties, continues to disrupt the status quo.

“In addition, I would like to add that while the Company has a host of tremendously talented agents, these awards also highlight we have an experienced support team capable of managing a major pipeline of sales with aplomb. Well done to everyone involved.”

According to REB, the top 50 agents in WA sold 3,843 properties in 2022, down marginally from 3,859 properties in 2021. Out of this, the top ten agents sold 967 properties, down from 1,206 the previous year.

The top 50 agents sold an average of 77 properties each, similar to the previous year. However, the total value of properties sold rose from $61.5 million in 2021 to $66.7 million in 2022.

Despite tightening buyer demand, days on market decreased from 42 to 37 across the top 50 agents, and from 38 to 31 across the top ten agents.
