The Agency goes all in on Tassie

National real estate company The Agency Group Australia (ASX:AU1) is looking to grow its presence further in Tasmania after launching the brand in Launceston earlier this year.

The Agency Real Estate CEO Matt Lahood said The Agency was pleased with the progress it was making in Tasmania after the acquisition of the 100 year old Bushby brand.

“We are now in the next phase of our plan for Tasmania and are looking to build on our sales and property management portfolios.

“We are seeking a state wide Sales Manager as well as Property Managers to help support our growth. Their roles will be to recruit, coach and mentor agents as well as take care of our ever increasing property portfolios.

“While the roles will be based in Launceston we are also looking at all opportunities available to us state wide, throughout Tasmania, and we are keen to establish a presence in Hobart and Devonport.”

Mr Lahood said The Agency – Team Bushby was heading into the busy summer period and a New Year that is full of promise.

“While other markets take a break over Christmas and the New Year period the Tasmanian market is firing due to an increase of tourists coming from the mainland and people seeking a permanent lifestyle change.

“We are excited to experience our first festive season in Tasmania and can’t wait to tackle the year ahead. Tasmania is an important piece in the property journey for many Australians and our unique offering enables clients the ability to utilise our national network with a brand that is in their own market.

“The Agency was established to bring the most experienced group of people in the real estate space together in a model that is more responsive to today’s property market and throughout 2022 we have been highly successful in expanding our geographical presence right across the country.”

The Agency currently has 650 real estate professionals Australia wide and the number of properties managed has climbed to above 8,000 at an estimated value of $6 billion.
