The Birth of Team Rash

In 2019, Rash made a bold move by forming his own team. It wasn’t just about handling more work; it was about mentoring others and extending the group’s reach across Perth.

Zed Ahmadi was the first to join, followed by business partner Neel Nanwani, and by the end of the year, they had sold 40 properties.

Their momentum continued to build, and despite the challenges that came with COVID, Rash and his team used the pandemic as a catalyst for growth.

Ana Borcherdt’s arrival helped boost their results to over 100 sales in one financial year.

 

Zyon’s Inspiration

While growth and numbers have always been part of the plan, something unique happened in 2021 that shifted the team’s motivation.

Rash’s then-4-year-old son, Zyon, offered what turned out to be an unexpected but pivotal moment.

During a casual drive, Zyon pointed out some houses and declared, “Daddy, you will sell all those houses!” When asked how many houses there were, Zyon, with childlike certainty, replied, “182.”

 

That simple comment lit a spark. Rash called Neel immediately, and they turned Zyon’s innocent declaration into a target: 182 sales in the next year.

They printed the number, plastered it around the office, and used it as their daily reminder. The result? By 2022, Team Rash hit that goal, selling 182 properties.

Reaching for More

As the team celebrated, Zyon was already thinking ahead. At just five years old, his next goal was set—257 properties. Again, the team rallied behind the number, and by 2023, they had achieved it, growing the team along the way with new members like Gopi Singh and Harick Singh.

 

The drive didn’t stop there. Zyon’s most recent target was even more ambitious: 365 properties, one for every day of the year.

And, in September this year, Team Rash surpassed that goal, hitting 369 properties and expanding to nine agents and three administrative staff. The next challenge, set for 2025, is to hit 400 sales.

The next phase of growth for Team Rash involves setting up personal assistants for their lead agents, ensuring they can provide even better support for their growing client base. Digital marketing is another critical focus, with plans to optimise their presence through social media, email campaigns, and innovative tools like QR codes on brochures and a dedicated buyer matching system.
