Cammeray is a beautiful residential area characterised by its quiet leafy streets, private waterfront parks and great city access with many houses being just one traffic light to the CBD. The suburb has a great cafe scene with some hip restaurants and offers close proximity to some of the city’s leading private schools. Restaurants and cafes

There are a range of cafes, restaurants, and shops along Miller Street with a choice of cuisines including Italian, Greek and Thai. The Public is a Greek inspired restaurant and bar, Amici Ristorante Pizzeria Bar serves up delicious Italian or you could try Something Fishy in Cammeray for Friday night fish and chips. There is also Wild Sage in the Stockland Square shopping centre which offers a great option for a coffee break from shopping.

Transport

Buses run regularly through Cammeray to the CBD, North Sydney, Milsons Point and Crows Nest making commuting in and out of the suburb easy. North Sydney train station is also just over 2 km away.

Schools

Cammeray is located close to some of Sydney’s best education facilities. Cammeray Public School caters for students from kindergarten to year six. There is also a vast array of secondary schools including Cammeray Public School, St Marys Primary School, North Sydney Boys High, North Sydney Girls High, Wenona School, Marist College and Shore Church of England Grammar School.

Parks & recreation

There are beautiful dog-friendly parks, bush tracks as well as Tunks Park Playground which borders the Flat Rock Gully Reserve that extends from the foreshore of Long Bay. The Cammeray Golf Club is a great place to swing a club, but is also right next door to the Cammeray Tennis Club, Cammeray Croquet Club and the Cammeray- Neutral Bay Skate Park.
