There is a selection of Thai, Japanese, Italian and Chinese restaurants, including the excellent Borruso’s Pizza and Attimo Restaurant on Sailors Bay Road. Local watering hole, The Northbridge Hotel is buzzy and fun with reasonably priced pub grub and live music on Sundays.

Transport

Buses from Northbridge to Wynyard are frequent and an easy way to get to the CBD. By public transport, its 20 minutes to North Sydney and 30 minutes to the CBD, or a 15 minute drive.

Schools

Northbridge is in the catchment area for Sydney Church of England Grammar School, and has easy access to all the other prestige schools on the north shore.

Parks & recreation

The tidal Northbridge Baths in Middle Harbour are simply stunning. Northbridge boasts seven beautiful harbourside parks including the popular Tunks Park, Clive Park and Hallstrom Point Park. There are tennis courts and a sailing club and the Northbridge Football Club, one of the oldest soccer clubs in Australia. The picturesque 18-hole Northbridge golf course is the only Sydney course with harbour views.
