Transport

A mere seven kilometres from the CBD, you can walk to either Wollstonecraft or St Leonards train station and be in town within half an hour. The bus from Greenwich Point takes you to Lane Cove and St Leonards. The ferry from the Greenwich Wharf goes to Balmain, and the City, or straight to Taronga Zoo.

Parks & recreation

The Greenwich Baths are one of the finest harbourside pools in Sydney. There are two sailing clubs, including the famous Greenwich Flying Squadron. Community activities are a huge part of Greenwich’s appeal and include the regular Greenwich Village Games and the annual Santa at the Wharf event for local families. The Greenwich Sports Club organises soccer and netball.
