Neutral Bay is filled with restaurants, cafes and eateries, located on or near busy Military Road. Hot Neutral Bay restaurants to check out include Sam Thai, Kyushu, Enopizzeria. Local favourite Maisy's is the only 24-hour cafe on the North Shore.  The Oaks Hotel, famous for its beautiful oak tree illuminated with fairy lights, has been keeping the locals watered since 1885, and new wine bar Firefly is trendy and sleek.  

Transport

City workers will love the excellent transport links of Neutral Bay, only eight minutes by public transport, a 12 minute car ride or about 20 minutes by cycle. Ferries from Circular Quay stop at Neutral Bay Wharf at the bottom of Hayes Street and connect with bus services to take you up the steep hill to Military Road.

Neutral Bay is convenient to SCEGGS Redlands, Monte Sant' Angelo and Wenona, as well as Marist Brothers College and Shore School.

Parks & recreation

For outdoors recreation, residents have the sportsgrounds and bushland of Forsyth and Anderson Parks or the harbourside Kurraba Point Reserve, where you can combine exercise with a sublime view of the city.
