When I decided to sell my property, I knew the enlisting of a real estate agent was an extremely important decision. I met and spoke with several Eastern Suburbs agents, of which Bethwyn Richards was one. She was refreshingly honest about my house and what she hoped I would get for it. I appreciated this and respected her views. I could see she had a wealth of knowledge of real estate in the area and therefore requested her to market and sell my property. During the following weeks Bethwyn handled every aspect of the sale including preparation of the house, advertising, photos, inspection times and so on. No decision was made without my consent. Bethwyn has sold two properties for us and on both occasions, we have been highly satisfied with the outcome. When selling our family home some years ago we interviewed several agents, and whilst none of them seemed obviously unsuitable we selected Bethwyn because we were very comfortable with her communication style. This year when planning to sell our apartment we had no hesitation in calling her in again. On both our sales she gave great advice and assistance with the preparation of the property including liaising with the photographers. We were always kept in the picture. She is highly professional and polished, and the selling reasons and price expectations are always professionally and consistently communicated. Knowing Bethwyn to be a busy agent, I half expected her to pass on some of the selling agent duties to her other staff, like airing the house before a show day or doing a final check before opening, but was pleasantly surprised to see Bethwyn at each and every open 10 minutes before due time, taking personal responsibility for every aspect of the open house, and handling all buyer enquiries professionally. Overall, I was very happy with Bethwyn’s professionalism and the ensuing result and would have no hesitation in recommending her as a selling agent.
