Featured in The Sunday Telegraph roundup of the weekend's best auctions, a Rosebery home in Sydney's inner south has sold for almost $300,000 over its reserve. The three-bedroom home at 32 Sutherland Street sold under the hammer for $2,395,000, smashing its $2,100,000 reserve with seven registered bidders vying for the home.
Selling agent Anthony Kassis said the three-bedroom home was popular with local families.
"It had a nice warm feel, a retro '80's home owned by the same owner for 55 years," he said.
