Published in The Daily Telegraph as well as Realestate.com.au and News.com.au, a Federation cottage at 253 West St, Cammeray, sold for $2,610,000 under the hammer, $410,000 above its reserve.

Sold by The Agency's Steven Devine and Greg Emerton, the home had been in the same family for 70 years, with the owner now 97 years old.

Mr Devine said the vendor was “beyond happy, in tears,” as the hammer fell on the final bid.

There were 16 registered bidders for the three bedroom home, with the buyers a young couple with two children.

“That was typical of most of the bidders who were interested in the property, a couple of young couples who had the help of bank of mum and dad but mainly young families,” Mr Devine said.

The articles also referenced The Agency Davide Talone's sale of a garage in Woollahra for $500,000. The parking space on Roslyndale Avenue garnered interest from locals with limited parking and desired parking walking distance from their homes.

“Garages have been offered in the past but with this particular one it has electricity and power to the garage. It is a clever purchase and reflects the automotive industry’s transition to electric,” Mr Talone said.
