We want you to nominate the Best of the West!
We are proud to announce that The Agency is partnering with 9News to sponsor Best of the West, a new initiative that recognises and promotes the difference-makers in our great state of Western Australia!
Every month between August and January, we’ll be awarding $5,000 to a person or organisation who we consider to be the Best of the West, in other words, a person or group that goes above and beyond for their community.
And we want you to help us out, by nominating someone who deserves it!

Who are the Best of the West?
To celebrate our difference-makers, The Agency are looking for people who are using their time, talent, and/or resources to make a difference in the lives of others or the world at large.
Maybe it’s the:
- Parent who hosts a children’s book club at the local library.
- Folks who work tirelessly at the local food bank.
- Group of children planting trees for a sustainable future.
- Individual who is suffering from an illness, but still takes time to raise awareness and help others in a similar situation.
There are thousands of people out there making a difference in countless ways, and we’re sure you know someone who could be considered the Best of the West!
How to nominate someone
If you know someone who deserves the recognition, and who could use the additional funds to turbo-charge their efforts, you can nominate them by clicking the button below and submitting details about them.
Nominate as many individuals, organisations or community groups that you want. Just be sure to explain what makes them so special and why they deserve this award.
How to watch the Best of the West
We’ll announce the winners and tell their story on 9News at 6pm during the Sunday bulletin, every month beginning August 01. We’ll also feature them right here on this blog!
