Jon Williams: Warren, how important is a strong digital campaign when selling a home?
Warren Barry: It's extremely important, I believe, because most people start their search online when looking for property. And we know those results, month on month. Also, it's important to have it as an integrated campaign, along with your traditional media. The placement of digital, alongside TV ads and radio, is really important for driving conversions.
Jon Williams: So can you tell us how your team helps connect relevant buyers to the property?
Warren Barry: Sure. Digital marketing is very important in terms of the exact matching for clients who look at it completely as ROI. You can target users at the top of the funnel searching for terms like ‘properties for sale’, all the way down to the bottom of the funnel with exact matches like ‘two bedroom house for sale in Cottesloe’. This latter search represents exactly what the person is looking for; they've probably done a lot of their qualification already, wanting a two-bedroom house in a certain area at a certain price. So that's primarily where we play, by driving real leads for real estate agents.
