Michael Paproth has been ranked one of the top agents in the Port Phillip area, specialising in the sale of prestige property and building market-leading real estate teams. A renowned mentor and leader within the industry, Michael Paproth and The Agency’s General Manager Peter Kakos have come together to join The Agency’s newest office in Albert Park.
“To be able to work with The Agency team including Matt Lahood, Shad Hassen, Ben Collier and Steven Chen was very exciting and to recalibrate with Peter Kakos,” Michael Paproth says. “Peter and I worked closely together for three years at Marshall White, and now again, we have the opportunity to grow a high-calibre team in Victoria.
“We have a blank canvas in terms of who we move forward with and what we create under The Agency brand, which is focused on world-class service.”
Michael Paproth has held a strong position in Melbourne’s high-end property market for two decades, to put his success in perspective, in 2017 he sold $177 million in residential property. These kind of results can only be achieved by delivering an extremely high and consistent level of service to clients.
“Michael Paproth is highly regarded as the ‘go to’ agent for property in the Port Phillip area. His knowledge, understanding, and passion for the area is unwavering and for over 20 years he has specialised in selling Albert Park, Middle Park and Port Melbourne’s finest homes and apartments,” Peter Kakos says. “He has a tremendous following of loyal clients, which is not surprising considering he continues to raise the bar in service and in the results achieved. Something he has done year on year.
“I have wanted to link arms with Michael for a very long time and could not be more excited to continue our real estate journey together and be at the forefront of a fast-changing industry.”
The real estate industry and its relationship with the evolving digital landscape, including new products, new portals and social media avenues, means there is more pressure on agents to work within agile environments. The pace of change is speeding up and it is up to the real estate brands to carefully assess which technologies will see them safely into the future. But outside of the brand framework, Michael Paproth is very clear on what it takes to deliver on consumer expectations in today’s market – old-fashioned customer service.
“Things like seven-day-a-week availability, world-class auctions, valuable real-time data and quality market advice make the difference,” Michael Paproth says.
Michael has extensive experience working through Australia’s real estate cycles, from the lows of the GFC to the highs of 2016 and 2017. This experience, coupled with his natural leadership qualities, means Michael will step straight into a leadership and mentoring role within the Victorian team.
“Michael has a strong ability to nurture and grow agents around him. He will continue to lead his own team and continue to deliver exceptional outcomes for his trusted clients. His ability to strategise a campaign, ensuring maximum exposure, and expertly negotiate sale outcomes make him one of the best,” Peter Kakos says.
The Agency's office at Albert Park will open at 89 Victoria Ave, Albert Park at Easter.
