Media Release 13/09/18

After 16 years with the one brand, high-achieving Stonnington and Boorondara agent Adam Cashmore has joined The Agency. Adam Cashmore is renowned for his exceptional sales results and is strongly entwined with his local community. A long-time Stonnington resident, he is well-known for his genuine and ethical approach to real estate and is a well-respected member of the local area.

Adam’s experience and expertise in the Stonnington area was exactly what we were looking for. He literally lives and breathes the area,” Peter Kakos, The Agency’s General Manager of Victoria says. “He has developed and built an extremely strong following of clients who are drawn to his caring and nurturing nature, combined with his passion and skill in achieving great property outcomes.”

Changing brands after 16 years is a significant move for an agent, but Adam Cashmore felt he needed a fresh approach, one where the personal touches are at the forefront of the business and professional development and motivation are promoted within.

The branding is modern and appealing and the business model is different to the old-school real estate office,” Adam Cashmore explains. “It has a ‘new’ vibe and offers the flexibility and challenge that I have been searching for at this stage of my career.

“Within The Agency model I will essentially be operating my own business under the umbrella of a reputable and professional brand. I will be forming a team of motivated agents who will be working together for each other’s success
.”

The appointment of Adam Cashmore will expand The Agency’s presence into the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne including; Malvern East, Malvern, Hawthorn East, Toorak, Glen Iris and Armadale.

Adam has an innate ability to connect with people, build strong relationships and possesses in-depth market knowledge,” Peter Kakos says. “With our new office about to launch in the east, servicing the eastern and south-eastern corridor, more clients will be able to benefit from The Agency’s point of difference.”

In Adam Cashmore’s view, agents need to adapt to both the changing market and an evolving industry.

Agents need to be honest with their clients and rather than just follow standard procedures, work ‘smarter’ to sell their homes, which doesn’t necessarily mean ‘harder’.”
